If you suffer from slow intermittent ADSL in your area, or already have a standard LTE modem, this LTE-A version modem will give you ultra-fast LTE-A speeds (dependent on whether your ISP has standard LTE or LTE-A on your nearest tower). It operates on any SIM with a fixed LTE type service.
The device is only 5 months old as I got fibre in my area so have cancelled my Telkom contract. It cost me R3,978 to cancel my contract so often it is best to just buy your own modem at a cheaper price and be on a month-to-month contract with an ISP if you are expecting fibre to roll out in your area soon.
