EchoLife HG521 home gateway is a type Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) terminal. On the network side, it provides a high-speed ADSL2+ interface that supports the annex a standard for wide area network (WAN) access. On the user side, it provides an Ethernet interface and supports wireless local area network (WLAN) access for home various terminals, such as a PC and an IP set-top box.
The WLAN of the HG521 supports 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n, thus enabling high-speed wireless networking and interconnections at home.
The HG521 inherits powerful routing functions from Huawei gateways and supports the network address translation (NAT) and firewall functions. With flexible network configurations and quality of service (QoS) policies, it can improve end-to-end quality assurance by working together with operators' network equipment. Therefore, the HG521 extends high-speed and quality broadband services to family terminals and support simultaneous access to data, communication, and entertainment services.
