HUBERTUS VON SKAL VINTAGE CULTURED PEARL, DIAMOND AND 10CT YELLOW GOLD RING. REFINED AND LUSTROUS. HEAVY 5,68 grams!

This is a stately piece, well made piece featuring a large cultured pearl set in 10ct yellow gold accented by curvy white gold leaves that are set with 8 x brilliant cut diamonds. The German jeweller, Hubertus von Skal, is known for his focus on creating jewellery that was perfectly balanced. He also had a particular penchant for pearls! The stylish design of this piece is complemented by 2 grooves that extend from the ring head, down the broad shoulders of the ring, creating three dimensional folds that resemble material. The solid shank is narrow from underneath the finger for comfort, broadening at the shoulders to an openwork bridge that supports the ring head, raising it to 11mm above the finger. The piece has been beautifully crafted and is well balanced, making it a good snug fit on the finger. Although vintage, it is in really good condition with just a few buff marks in the gold along the shank and shoulders. The ring is hallmarked with"SKAL" for the jeweller's signature and '10K' indicating 10ct gold; I have had the ring jeweller tested and authenticated. His certificate for R7'800 will accompany the ring that comes in a quality ring box. A graceful, stately ring, and a rare collectable.
