Chronograph Mechanism
1. Strong Click Start and Stop Button
The E21 00 features a strong click start and stop button. This feature provides an extra measure of confidence when precise time measurement is required.
2. The Instantaneous Zero Reset
The E2100 features an instantaneous zero reset button, a technological first in an analog quartz watch. The function hand returns to zero position as soon as you push the reset button, making fast and accurate time measurement possible.
Eco-Drive
1. Eco-Drive movements
The E21 00 is equipped with Citizen's own Eco-Drive. The solar cell under the watch face captures light, thereby creating electricity. The electricity is stored in the rechargeable battery, which drives the watch movement. This feature eliminates the need for a battery change. Citizen has developed the technology to capture maximum light energy allowing 1/5 second hand movements for a continuous 12 hours.
2. Power Reserve Indicator
The E21 00 is equipped with a power reserve indicator, so that at any time you can check the status of the power reserve in the rechargeable battery.
3. Alarm
The alarm function of the E21 00 is extremely user friendly and can be set for five minute intervals.
Simple & Safety Operation
Setting the time, chronograph and alarm functions is very easy. Each has its own dedicated buttons making all these settings error free. In addition, to avoid an unwanted interruption while the chronograph is functioning, the reset button is automatically disabled. Ease of use and functionality have been specially engineered into the E2100.
