Here's a real show-stopper of a ring! This piece is made out of solid sterling silver. It weighs in at 7,7 grams and extends 21 mm across the width of the finger, 16 mm up the finger (length) and the top of the bulbous curve of the ring head sits 6 mm above the finger height. The entire ring is sterling silver but the shank and some of ribbons that form the interwoven pattern of the head have been covered in gold. Important to know - the silver is real, the gold is not 9 carat. Not sure what it is but the ring is vintage and judging by the condition of the ring, it is a good quality gold colouring.
I have had the ring checked and verified by a jeweller and the diamonds (there are three of them 1 mm round faceted) are real. The ring comes with the jeweller certificate for R2'703. Its a really solid and unusual piece of jewellery!
