VINTAGE AMETHYST AND MARCASITE STERLING
SILVER RING. 925

A very large and striking ring! This is a vintage marcasite and amethyst sterling silver ring bearing a rather unusual and interesting design. The elongated raised section of round cut marcasites in the centre is framed by round cut amethysts, creating an interesting balance of colours and texture. The marcasite gemstones extend into the shoulders of the ring. The shank of the ring is narrow, simple, yet solid. The ring head sits 6 mm above the finger, and runs 29 mm up the finger. The ring is sterling silver ( hallmarked 925 ). At 7,1 grams, it is a substantial piece of jewellery with a nice strong feel to it! A gorgeous and unusual ring!

Amethyst is a meditative and calming stone which works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to provide calm, balance, patience, and peace.
