Description
Double bill of Disney animated adventures. In 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' (1996) bell ringer Quasimodo (voice of Tom Hulce) has been kept locked up in the cathedral since the time of his birth. Now a young man, Quasimodo ventures down into the streets for the first time and takes part in the Festival of Fools celebration.
But the crowd begin to victimise him because of the way he looks, and he is only rescued by the similarly outcast Esmeralda (Demi Moore), a beautiful gypsy dancer. The pair then team up to combat a government minister's sinister plans and to try and bring a little kindness to the streets of Paris. In 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame II' (2002) Quasimodo visits the circus and falls for the beautiful Madellaine (Jennifer Love Hewitt).
But while Quasimodo dreams of his heart's desire, the evil circus master Sarousch (Michael McKean) secretly plots to steal La Fidele, Notre Dame's famous jewelled bell. Can Quasimodo save the bell and win the love of Madellaine?
