How to Prepare Hydroflow for Direct Application

Follow these steps to prepare 1,000 litres of nutrient solution for immediate use:

1. Dissolve the Base:

   • Add 1,000g of Hydroflow to 500 litres of water and stir until fully dissolved.

2. Add Additional Water:

   • Add a further 250 litres of water to the tank.

3. Optional Add Potassium Sulphate:

   • If required, add Potassium Sulphate at the recommended rate.

   • Stir until completely dissolved.

4. Final Addition Add Calcium Nitrate:

   • Add the final 250 litres of water together with Hortical Calcium Nitrate.

5. Agitation is Essential:

   • In both circumstances (with or without Potassium Sulphate), ensure the solution is well agitated before applying to plants.

Important Precautions

• Never Mix Concentrates Together:
  Concentrated Hydroflow and concentrated Hortical Calcium Nitrate must not be mixed directly, as this can cause precipitation and nutrient lockout. Always dilute separately before combining in the tank.

• Container-Grown Plants:
  If using in container systems, periodically leach the containers with fresh water to prevent salt build-up.

• Residue Notice:
  Although Hydroflow is made using only high-quality raw materials, a small insoluble residue may occasionally remain in the tank this is normal and will not harm plants.
