Hydrolyzed Keratin - 100ml

Hydrolyzed keratin is the liquid form of the special fibrous protein keratin, which is found naturally in hair, nails, feathers and wool. Keratin is unique in that it contains cystine, an amino acid, which provides incredible strength and protective qualities. This is a cosmetic grade product for use in hair and skin care products.

USES & BENEFITS

• Adding keratin to hair product formulas not only protects the hair, but also increases the amount of cystine available to the hair, minimizing damage and increasing tensile strength.
• Keratin has a 'protective colloid effect' reducing chapping and irritation caused by detergents and other harsh products.
• Keratin increases the moisture content of the hair, restoring luster and body while increasing manageability.
• It is also an effective moisturizer for the skin.
• Since keratin is a primary constituent of skin and hair, it makes good sense to use this protein in hair and skin preparations.

Usage: 2 - 10%, in the water or cool down phase.
