Hardcover. Cloth boards, gilt title and publisher to spine, some spotting to boards, with light scuffing, surprising for a book of this age it is not bumped. Decorative end-papers, clean of inscriptions. Pages browning with age, some handling marks, otherwise a very clean copy.  Lettering, Sign Painting, Alphabets, colour and shading. Illustrations, including full colour illustrations/plates as well as black and white. 146pages, plus exam questions and index. A reply postage sticker for International Correspondence schools is still in the book but has gummed itself to page 94, (It can be professionally removed and preserved as part of the books provenance.)
