FIRST GENERATION 1995 INTERGALACTIC BUZZ LIGHTYEAR TOY STORY VINTAGE TOY

AN 1995 INTERGALACTIC BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, TOY STORY VINTAGE TOY. INTRODUCED IN 1995 BY DISNEY THINKWAY AS THE COOLEST TOY EVER.
 
The original Toy Story movie was released in 1995 to great success and has become one of the favourite movies of a whole generation. Following the movie, the actual toys were released.
 
THIS 1995 INTERGALACTIC BUZZ LIGHTYEAR IS ONE OF THE FIRST GENERATION BUZZ TOYS RELEASED IN 1995. WITH SILVER CHROME FINISH IT IS A TALKING ACTION FIGURE.
 
BUZZ IS OVERALL IN FAIR TO GOOD VINTAGE AND WORKING CONDITION. IT GOES THROUGH THE SOUNDBITES AND THE COMMUNICATOR AND DOME LIGHTS LIGHT UP SOMETIMES WHILE IT IS DOING SO. STRUCTURALLY ALL THE JOINTS WORK AND HE STANDS COMFORTABLY.
 
He has ball-jointed shoulders, wrists that can swivel in and out, swivel-hinged hips, and soft-ratcheted knees and ankles. His head appears to swivel and his fingers move individually at the first knuckle.
 
He features a battery compartment located in the back half of his torso, hidden by his wing pack. To access it, one must remove the three screws located on his wing pack. Buzz requires two AA batteries to power his electronics which I will include with this listing.
 
The Space wings with red rockets attached swing out whilst extending. Buzz's helmet is in tact and retractable.
 
Buzz's left forearm features a locking wrist communicator, which flips up. As far as I could determine this doesn't offer any other features beyond providing imaginative potential.

Prices on the original Buzz Lightyear action figures have gone to infinity and beyond on EBAY. Based on recent eBay sales, people are willing to pay $150-$200 for a talking Buzz Lightyear figure from 1995.
 
DISNEY THINKWAY: Buzz has Disney/Thinkway sculpted on his butt/ass.
Thinkway Toys was a Canadian-based toy company that is responsible for creating and distributing several toys and figures from Disneys Pixar films, notably WALL-E and Toy Story.
Back when Toy Story was coming out in 1995 Disney was having trouble finding distributors willing to produce the toy products for the film in time before its release. The small retailer Thinkway Toys agreed to produce them.

CONDITION: SOME SCRAPES AND PAINT LOSS TO BODY SUIT AND BACK. THE DISK LAUNCHER THAT CAME SEPARATE WITH BUZZ AND CAN ATTACH TO HAND OR BACKPACK IS MISSING. THE LARGE RED BUTTON IS SUPPOSED TO PRESSURE POP OUT THE ROCKET WINGS BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO DO THAT ANYMORE. LASER BUTTON DOES NOT MAKE ANY SOUNDS. IT GOES THROUGH THE TALKING SOUNDBITES NICELY AND THE COMMUNICATOR LIGHT AND DOME LIGHT FLASHES SOMETIMES WITH THE SOUNDBITES AS IT SHOULD. ALL THE JOINTS WORK AS IT SHOULD. OVERALL IN FAIR TO GOOD VINTAGE AND WORKING CONDITION.
