First Edition, Makro Books, 1981, Hardback - Africana- 109pp. ISBN 0909231710. Signed by the author.

This book details South African author Essie Honiballs transformative personal journey from near-fatal tuberculosis to robust health through a strict fruitarian diet.

After isolating herself to eat nothing but fruit, she returned a year later completely healed, vital, and visibly rejuvenated. : In 1971, she participated in a landmark clinical study at the University of Pretoria. Professor B.J. Meyer found she suffered no deficiency illnesses and possessed an above-average work rate. The results were published in the South African Medical Journal.
