I think it could be vintage. Definitely feel a Persian piece (Iran).

Thought originally a Hamadan, but not sure as it is finer hand woven

than the others I have come across.  Professional cleaning recommended

This one is as photographed. I am very charmed by it. It measures

approximately with very scanty fringing length 271cm and width across 75cm.

Scanty fringe.


Wool. Camera often makes them look more striking


There is some light wear to the pile in places. Authenticates age as

opposed detracting



Back to front. Hand knotted.

Finer than the average Hamadan's I have come across
