Styled in a galaxy black, open pore, the TCM50 Talman Acoustic/Electric Guitar from Ibanez is designed to provide electric guitar players with a primarily acoustic axe that feels more like their native instrument. It features a Talman-style double-cutaway body with a figured ash top as well as sapele back and sides. Basswood marquetry adorns the soundhole rosette.
Its 25.6" scale okoume neck sports a purpleheart fingerboard with 20 frets. The strings are held in place by a purpleheart bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, and a set of chrome die-cast tuning machines at the headstock.
For electronics, this guitar boasts an Ibanez AP2 Magnetic pickup and an Ibanez AEQ200M preamp with a two-band EQ and an output-level slider. The electronics in their totality allow you to plug into PAs, mixers, recording interfaces, and more, without the need of a microphone.
