This is a good used hair removal system from Igia New York. This was turned on, powers up, & when tweezers make contact power light brightens as it should! This has not been fully tested & is sold as-is. This auction is for the unit pictured & nothing else.
IGIA Hair Remover Gold - If I could invent just one thing, it would be the perfect hair-removal method.
Hair grows by forming new cells at the base of the root. As these new cells form around the papilla which nourishes them, the old cells are pushed away and die. The new cells gradually force a rod of dead cells up through the follicle. The old cells from the root actually become part of the hair shaft. Hair continues to grow as long as the papilla provides nourishment for new cells. The IHR system emits a harmless radio frequency in the form of dry energy from the tweezer tips. When the tweezers grip a hair, this energy is transmitted down the hair to the root and the papilla. This will stop the hair-growth cycle, and eventually prevent new hairs from forming. After being exposed to this energy, the "dead" hair slides out of the follicle-with no tugging, pinching or pain.

A. Yes, the stength of the Igia's radio waves are completely adjustable. By turning an adjusting knob you can increase or decrease the strength so that is painless in even the most sensitive areas.
*Some stubborn hairs may not slide out easily after treatment. Generally, these hairs will fall out within 36-48 hours on their own. If they do not, repeat treatment process
