There no visible damage to any of the facets under a 10 x loupe. Any gem that has a cut classified as "Ideal" means you are getting a gem with the best fire available!

The diamond is certified by IGL (International Gemological laboratory - a ISO 9001:2008 approved Diamond Grading and Appraisal company) and laser inscribed on the girdle ( G970249) and valued at $5,475 = R52,012 + 14% VAT (R7,282) = R59,294 @ R9.5/$. This number is only visible under 10 x Jewelers loupe and not at all visible to the naked eye. The laser inscription makes gem switching impossible.
