LARGE 1.5 LITER IKEA CERAMIC PITCHER IN STRIPED PATTERN MADE BY SPAL PORTUGAL FOR IKEA IN THE 1980S. MODERN SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN WITH CLEAN LINES, IN A WHITE BASE COLOR ADORNED WITH GRAY, RED AND YELLOW STRIPED PATTERN DESIGN. MADE OF SMOOTH AND HEAVY STONEWARE.
EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION WITH MINIMAL TRACES OF USE. FULLY STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM.

IKEA (1943-present):
IKEA was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad in Sweden when he was 17 years old. Initially, it was a small mail-order business selling everyday items like pens and wallets. The name "IKEA" is an acronym formed from Ingvar Kamprad's initials, the name of his family farm (Elmtaryd), and the nearby village (Agunnaryd). In 1948, furniture was added to the product range, marking the beginning of IKEA's focus on furniture as we know it today.
