The Nikon F100 is a professional level 35mm SLR. It comes equipped with the Nikon MB 15 Power Grip (New) and Sigma aspherical 28-80mm Zoom Lens. The lens has a small mark on the front element that does not affect the picture.

This camera is in perfect working order and is ideal for the serious photographer who needs a rugged, full featured unit with an incredible array of features. The Users manual and Instructional CD is included in the sale. The shutter speeds range from 30sec-1/8000th in 1/3 adjustments, 4 Main Exposure modes exist P,S,A and Manual. In additional customizable modes are available to set up the camera to your required settings. Some 22 settings can be adjusted ranging from method of autofocus to LCD Illuminator. Standard settings are easily restored using the 2 button reset. This camera has had the revised metal rewind fork and motor fitted by Nikon SA at a cost of R1350.00 (This was a weak point of the original design).

The auto focus speed on the F100 is very fast, I estimate that it is approximately twice the speed of a good digital SLR, the automatic focus tracking is uncanny in its accuracy and ideal for sports and action shooting. The MB-15 Power pack/grip enable continuous multiple exposures at high speed and balances the camera nicely especially when using big heavy lenses.  The exposure metering offers, matrix, centre weighted and spot although this is also adjustable through the custom settings menu.
