First Edition. Very good. Small score mark to front board and rear corner is bumped.was the personal copy of Brigadier-General P.R.C. Groves and while not appending his name he has neatly pencilled in some underlinings in the text. Groves was a friend and colleague of Fuller's and was an important military strategist in both wars for the British Army. He was the British Air Representative at the Versailles peace conference and retired to Somerset-West near Cape Town. The author Fuller was famous for his prescience in battle strategy and Hitler himself took his advice more seriously than the British, using Fuller's writings and predictions to develop his blitzkrieg style of battle.
