Decorative Imperial Imaristyle porcelain wall plate, produced in Japan during the late 20th century, inspired by 16th-century Japanese Imari porcelain.
The plate features a richly detailed peacock and floral scene, symbolising beauty, prosperity, and longevity, rendered in classic Imari colours of cobalt blue, iron red, and soft green.
The reverse label confirms this as a contemporary interpretation made with imperial permission, issued in a limited collectors series. Fitted with a hanging wire and intended for wall display rather than table use.
An eye-catching statement piece for Asian-inspired, eclectic, or collector interiors. Size 32cm
Very good decorative condition. Light age-related wear only. No cracks or repairs noted. Vintage condition is fully photographed and described for buyer confidence.
