APOLOGIES FOR REFLECTIONS ON PICS

This exquisite vase is intricately decorated with applied grapes and vines wrapped around the front. It is from the Meiji period and has the character mark on the base. It is a solid piece at 1.560kg. It unfortunately has corrosion marks, but as you can see, from a distance, these flaws can not be seen. Due to these imperfections, I have priced accordingly otherwise I would have it at an auction house. It is truly an impressive piece and would be a great addition to your Oriental Art collection.

PLEASE CHECK THUMBNAILS

Although I am a passionate lover of vintage and antique treasures, I am not an expert antiques dealer and can, on occasion, mistakenly identify items. I try my best and spend a lot of time researching every piece, as this is the passion that drives me - the history and stories behind each piece. Pieces may contain imperfections, as is common with wear and age. I select items that pull at my heart. Sometimes these blemishes add to the character and personality of the piece and I fall in love with it, flaws and all. I do my best to show and/or describe the imperfections that I find so you can decide if it's something you will fall in love with as well.
