Impressive Pair of Jingtai Blue Cloisonne Vases on Original Wood Bases

Impressive pair Oriental Jingtai Blue Cloisonne vases, enamel over brass. Decorated with typical birds and flowers. 18cm tall.
The cloisonné of this vases is known in China as the "Blue of Jingtai", with a history of over 500 years, because "blue" was the typical color used for enameling and "Jingtai" was the reign title of the 7th Ming Emperor. The vases with the typical blue color, pink peony flower, yellow flower and leaves are simply gorgeous. Very rare to find them as a pair with their original bases.

Condition: Excellent condition.
