About the item
The medal comes in purpose made wooden box, with a metal inlay of colour gold with the words ROBBEN ISLAND, 1964-1982 (see the photo)
The front of the medal has the face of Mandela as per the photo and the back has the inscription Robben Island, 1964-1982, with a picture of table mountain and a plan view of the island(as per the plate ion the box)
The medal comes with a Mint of Norway certificate with the unit number on it.
According to a big retail outlet, there has been huge demand for this particular medal and it is currently selling at R40 000, with a 10% increase due within the next few weeks.
Shipping
Once the money has cleared in my account, the item can either be collected from me at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg or it can be couriered to you in South Africa at a cost of R500.00, which will include for the insurance.
