In The Presence of GOD - Izak De Villiers (Christian)

This is not a book with beatiful thoughts tied together with a fancy bow. It is an effort to cover biblical highlights and to find a message for every day of the year. Because the Old and New Testament dovetail so perfectly, I devoted the first part of every month to the Old Testament and the second part to the New Testament. I only deviated from this method in the month of December, because Advent determines its own rules.

In the Presence of God can also be read in themes and not only as a devotional. For instance, if you feel like doing a quick read of all the devotions of a specific month and then return to the daily readings at a later stage, it will also make sense.

It was a privilege to write this book. It has brought me closer to the Word and to God. I pray the same for you.
