The Process
All grape juice is white, whether you have used red or white grapes. Prior to the development of Thermo Flash grape juice extraction, the only method of producing red grape juice was by adding powdered dye to the juice.
Thermo Flash extraction has now made it possible to burst the red skins and seed cells as part of the juice extraction process, thus releasing the colour pigmentation, which is high in phytochemicals, directly into the juice.
Through this process we are able to release into a juice what was previously only possible in wines through fermentation. Now there is a juice with the complexity of wine with absolutely no alcohol.
Health Benefits
For the first time it is possible to produce red grape juices that contain the same benefits found in red wines as well as other beneficial flavonoids found in red wine, available to a significantly larger proportion of the population.
Researchers in Medical Science have recently isolated antioxidants in the form of bio-flavonoids, or more specifically, reservatrol in red grape skins, as a principal contributing factor in the lowering of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL or cholesterol) and elevating the High Density Lipoprotein (HDL or good cholesterol), thereby preventing the deposition of LDL on arterial walls that cause arteriosclerosis, as well as narrowing of the arteries.
Reservatrol has also been shown to promote cardiovascular health and activate ant-ageing enzymes at the same time as fighting the formation of free radicals known to be linked to cancer and other diseases.
Along with the above, the concentration of phyochemicals that prevent the deposition of cholesterol’s on arterial walls has been found to be high in red grapes. These plant chemicals find their way into red wine during the fermentation process. Through Thermo Flash Extraction, Inah withholds all the health benefits contained in grapes.
