Inauguration of President Nelson R. Mandela Medal & other items
The large bronze medal was sponsored by First National Bank and made at the SA Mint for Education Africa in 1994. The display holder shows some age marks and we are not sure if all the documents / certificates are included but the medal itself is in perfect condition. See Laidlaw # 0394 cataloguing at US$155 (R2 500).
Included in the lot are various philatelic items relating to Mandela as well as a NGC graded MS64 R5 of 2000. One bid takes the collection. (The large picture of the medal is generic).
