Genuine, Rare and very sought after, Vintage Scottish Dirk, Maker R.G. Lawrie, complete with knife and fork utensils (Supposedly to use with meals in the field). Elaborate Celtic style work to the Silver Mounts (not tested for silver, might be plated). No signs of wear to the Silver Mounts, but apart from the makers details, no other markings seen. Large Cairngorm type Synthetic Stone set into the handle as well as two smaller similar stones set into the utensil handles. All stones intact, good condition. Basket weave black material handle section and leatherette type material to bottom section. High Quality Steel Blades, both larger and small marked with makers details, research indicates mid to early 20th century? Leather looking attachment behind allowing item to be secured via a belt to a Scottish kilt. Apart from a small insignificant tarnish/corrosion spot to the large blade on the top and utensil fork tips and some bitumen type material on the strap and rear of handle, this amazing item is in superb Vintage condition. These have considerable Collector value, some over R30K. No evidence of this being a Military item?
