Obtained from an Estate, claimed to be a hand carved Ivory sweetheart brooch from the second world war era. Brown mark to one corner signifies a flame test to verify that the brooch is indeed ivory. The metal pin certainly appears to be hand made. The Carving is very good and finely detailed. Pin clasp works, so could be worn. I cannot verify the claim of pow, although brooch does appear to be old and hand crafted. Item is to be sold as is. There are no markings or inscriptions to this rather interesting piece.
No damages, other than a small brown burn mark which will clean off. Measures approximately 70 mm long.
