This nice, vintage claw bell with matching stand was made in India. Nicely engraved all around with leaves and vines, it has a warm, mellow patina. This style of bell is called a Buddist claw bell or an elephant bell. Indian brass items were popular in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s.

Bell is in excellent condition. The original clapper is still inside and fully functional. The claw is not bent at all. There is a little oxidation inside the stand.
