Collectable 1st edition copy of this controversial 'biography'. In later editions the title was changed to Crow Killer, referring to the the subject of the book, John Johnston's, reputation for killing and scalping members of the first-nation Crow tribe and eating their livers, raw. This he did in revenge for the killing and scalping of his pregnant wife in 1847, by Crow Indians.
