A new release from the Oregon State University's high flavonoid breeding program. The first pear-shaped tomato in the Indigo series. The 2.5cm pear-shaped fruits have purple/black shoulders at maturity due to high anthocyanin levels. Excellent sweet flavour. Huge yields of 7 gram fruits, potentially 600-1,000 fruits per plant under ideal growing conditions. Grafting will improve yields even more. Bred by Dr. Jim Myers at Oregon State using traditional plant breeding techniques. The fruits draw their colour from the wild tomatoes found in the Galapagos Islands and Peru. Indeterminate. 65 days from transplant. These tomatoes are not GMO.
