 Good Life - The Best of Inner City (Audio CD) All of Inner City's original classic house/dance tracks are included on this CD. Since all of the songs date back to 1988-1992, many of these would be otherwise difficult to find. "Good Life" is easily and deservedly the most well known of these, with "Big Fun", "Do You Love What You Feel", and "Ain't Nobody Better" all taking you back to a particular place in time where the Inner City sound was considered fresh. Unfortunately for Inner City, they were unable to match the success of their first 4-5 hits, and listening to this CD will show you why. Most of the remaining tracks seem to rehash previously successful formulae which end up sounding like mediocre imitations of earlier hits. However, the lesser-known track "Pennies From Heaven" is perhaps one of their most underrated tracks, and I believe easily matches "Good Life". Both can be considered real classics, and together with their other hits, make this a worthwhile purchase.
