First edition hardcover with dust jacket published 1990. The story of the 10 000+ South African POWs captured after the fall of Tobruk in 1942, told by one of their own. Illustrated throughout with b/w photographs and includes the Tobruk Casualty List published by the Daily Dispatch newspaper on August 20 1942. Small print run and consequently not a very common book. Very good condition.
