Intense Pulsed Light Therapy

IPL can be used in women and men that suffer from rosacea, sun-damaged skin and pigmentations, acne, broken capillaries (telangiectasias), freckles, liver spots, birthmarks, enlarged skin pores, spider veins, etc. It can be used for skin that has texture and elasticity problems.

IPL passes through the top skin layer (epidermis) and penetrates the deeper layer (dermis), where blood vessels, pigment cells, and collagen are found.

With IPL the epidermis is unharmed, and redness and peeling associated with traditional laser skin resurfacing are avoided. There is a slight stinging sensation during the treatment, which subsides immediately after the procedure.
