Interesting find! 1915 original, uncancelled share certificate - The Russian Tobacco Company

Framed in glass with brass frame - 50cm x 37cm, certificate itself being 39cm x 26.5cm - an original, uncancelled share certificate for 25 shares issued in 1915 and printed in English, French and Russian by Waterlow & Sons, London with original signatures of the Company's Director and Registrar and with 17 coupons on the back.

The Russian Tobacco Company was set up by a group of Russian Bankers during the period of the Russian Czar merging together eleven different Russian Tobacco facilities, registered in London with shares being sold in Russia, England and France and had amongst its backers a number of Russian and foreign banks.  I see this certificate has been framed with a price tag when at some time it had been purchased for R1750.   Refer images
