This is a periodic interval timer kit. It can be used for the intermittent switching of circuits and equipment i.e blinking light, video / photo single frame shooting, slide projector control or miniature models.

This design makes use of the well-known NE555 timer IC (integrated circuit). The 555 IC is used as an astable oscillator that switches the on-board relay switch on and off periodically. The relay is switched on during pulse time and it is off during pause time. The pulse and pause times can be adjusted independently of each other.

Power supply: 12Vdc / 100mA
Output relay with dry switch-over contact: 3A/24V
Pulse time adjustable: between 0.5 and 5s
Pause time adjustable: between 2.5 and 60s
Dimensions: 40 x 85mm

 

Note: This is a soldering kit.
The electronic soldering kit consists of an
instruction pamphlet, a PCB (printed
circuit board) and all the electronic
components that are required to assemble
the complete circuit board of the kit. The
instruction pamphlet contains information
for assembling and using the kit.
The aim with the kit is for the end user to
do all the assembly work by soldering
(mounting) the electronic components
onto the PCB. It can be fun!
