.Victron energy - Multiplus 12/800/35
A 92% efficiency, 1600VA, 12VDC, Multifunction inverter and charger from Victron energy.
I bought the inverter in November 2022 and I used it with a 250Ah lead acid battery to power my 500watt gaming PC.
In early February this year( 2023 ), the lead acid battery lost almost 70% of its capacity and I have returned the battery so the inverter is of no use to me anymore.
The inverter has a very fast ups switch. I never had a power interruption since using the multiplus.
It automatically switched to battery backup when loadshedding occured and only switches back to mains power if the mains voltage is stable
which prevented power dips.
The inverter automatically begins charging the battery when the mains power is live.
The built in charger uses a 4 stage adaptive charging curve and can provide a charging current of up to 35 amps
