Use this Camera Connection Card Reader Adapter to easily transfer photos and videos from digital cameras and other devices to you iPad 4 and iPad Mini, and to connect an external keyboard.

This adapter has two connections, each with a different interface.  One end is a standard Lightning 8 Pin connector, the other end is a multi-card reader with a USB port.  The USB port can support external keyboards, but does not support 3G phones.

The adapter includes a built in card reader interface and includes slots for SD(HC), MS Duo, MMC, M2 and Micro SD(T-Flash) memory cards.  To use it, simply plug the Lightning connector into your iPad 4 or iPad Mini, then slide a memory card into one of the slots.  There is also a USB port on the bottom side, which allows you to connect either an external keyboard or a cable that can be connected to an iPhone, iPod, camera, or other USB supported devices.  When you slide a memory card into a slot, or attach an iPhone or other device through the USB port, your iPad 4 or iPad Mini will sense the connected device and open a window to let you see, select, and transfer photos and videos from the connected card or device.
