Hardcover with good dust wrapper, but actual cover of the book has a mark above her name and insect damage to edges and particularly the spine. Also a water mark on the back cover. Otherwise the inside is very good and clean and serves as an excellent reference to Stern's work.
The book commemorates the centenary of Irma Stern's birth and is a 'celebration' of her creativity' which was honoured with a country-wide exhibition in 1968, two years after her death.
Foreword by Professor Neville Dubow.
