I. Schapera (ed.), The Bantu-Speaking Tribes of South Africa: An Ethnographical Survey
With chapters by Raymond Dart, Clement Doke, W.M. Eiselen, A.J.H. Goodwin, Ellen Hellmann, A. Winifred Hoernle, Monica Hunter, Percival Kirby, Eileen Jensen Krige, G.P. Lestrade, J.S. Marais and N.J. van Warmelo.
Maskew Miller, 1950. Hardcover without a dust jackets, 453 pages, tables, illustrations, index.
Book in good condition for its age with sun fading and a small stain on the spine. Names in ink and a stamp on fep. There is some underlining and minor annotation on some pages but only in six of the 18 chapters and then only on some pages. Still a perfectly passable and readable copy of a rare and valuable book.
