The framed painting

DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A beautifully executed still life depicting an excellent composition of grapes, pomegranates and figs arranged around a reed basket and a copper bucket. Only a great artist could arrange this very well balanced composition and paint it so faultlessly in oil paint on artist board. That great artist is often listed and celebrated Spanish artist ISIDORO LAZARO FERRE (born 1949) who painted this lovely artwork in the 1970s when he was a young man. I will leave it up to you to do the research to find out more details about him. He signed the painting at bottom left. There is a close - up of his signature among the images below.
CONDITION / DIMENSIONS / FRAME	The painting itself is in excellent condition with the colours lovely and bright, but the frame does show it age of 40 years or so with no real damage, but flaking of the paint on the outer wooden section and soiling of the cloth covered section between inner and outer frame. I like leaving artworks in their original frame in order to keep the whole item in period, but the lucky buyer of this painting will have the choice of refurbishing the original 1970s frame (the frames were really ugly in those days) or re-framing the painting before hanging it. This is a LARGE painting which measures 800 x 950 if one includes the frame and 630 x 700 mm without the frame.
