This iSonic TV card uses a Philips chip to watch/record TV programs using your computer. Using the software, you can set and rename various channels.
Moreover, the remote control makes watching TV through your computer easier and makes it feels like you are using a proper TV. You can also play and record other sources such as a VCR, camcorder, and others using the Composite Input and S-Video input.
You can also capture single frames with this card making it easy to catalogue and share movies.
With this chipset you can have up to 136 Channels and watch them in Full Screen.
Now you can enjoy SABC and E-TV on your computer. If you have DSTV or MNET, you can also watch them provided you have the decoder, smart card and have paid your subscription. (You will need to connect the decoder to the TV Card with either the Coaxial or Composite cable).
