This is a copper State Medal issued by Israel in 1958 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of independence, often referred to as the "Liberation" or "Israel Liberata" medal.
The design explicitly reverses the ancient Roman "Judea Capta" coin minted after 70 CE, featuring a seated captive woman and a palm tree, but with the inscription "ISRAEL LIBERATA" (Israel Liberated) to signify the new state's freedom.
