This beautiful large Italian lead crystal glass vase is decorated with a pattern of leaves and white-frosted roses. It is heavy and stable and is suitable for a large centerpiece floral display.

The vase has the words 'Borgonovo' and 'Italy' embossed on the base. Vetreria di Borgonovo (Borgonovo Glassworks) was founded in 1950 in Borgonovo Val Tidone, near Milan in Italy, where the company still produces glassware today. This appears to be one of their earlier designs dating from the 1950s
