🏷 Italian Silverplated Rooster Table Ornaments 'Fighting Roosters' - a Pair

🔎 They are in good vintage condition, they require a slight clean, the one require a bit of balance to stand firmly, easily toppels.

📐 Length 15  cm x Width 15  cm x Height 21,5 cm.
      Length 16 cm x Width 16 cm x Height 23,5 cm.

📝This pair of ornately cast fighting roosters are completely unsigned, but presumed to have originated from Italy and date to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The well cast roosters are composed of solid brass, with a silver plated finish. One rooster of the pair is standing with its head up and the other is positioned with his head down. These highly decorative sculptures are usually used to adorn a dining table or sideboard, but could also work in a country kitchen. Both roosters are quite heavy.
