Italian World War 1 Allied Victory Medal (Grande Guerra per la Civilta)

The Allied Victory Medal was awarded to participants of the First World War, and was established in 1920. This is the Italian variant of the medal.

Includes original ribbon, but it is in poor condition (see pictures below).

Front:

• Imagery of winged Victoria holding a torch of liberty, upon a chariot drawn by four lions.

Back:

• Imagery of a tower structure with two doves above
• Wording "GRANDE GUERRA PER LA CIVILTA"
• Wording "AL COMBATIENTI DELLA NAZIONE ALLEATE ASSOCIATE"
• War year "MCMXIV-MCMXVIII"
