A SUPER DIFFICULT LOT ON  OFFER. THIS AIRSHIP "DIRIGILLE ITALIA" ON A POLAR VENTURE CRASHED IN THE ANTARTIC ON ITS RETURN TO BASE IN 1928 AND CAPTAINED BY THE DESIGNER UMBERETO NOBILE AN ITALIAN AIR FORCE ENGINEER INSERT A PHOTO OF THE PILOT.  NOTED CARD A LITTLE WATER DAMAGE BOTTOM.
