From the Netherlands and Belgium, a Medal sold to the Catholic Community in 1958 to Raise Funds in Aid of the Thousands of Cold War Refugees in Displacement Camps in West Germany who had fled from Communist Regions behind the Iron Curtain.

Obverse: “WIE U VERVOLGT VERVOLGT MIJ (those who persecute you persecute me)”  In the angles: "GODSPENNING (God's Medal) and 58"

Reverse : Three parts for morning , noon and night:

  • “HEER WAT WILT U DAT IK DOEN ZAL (Lord, what would you have me do)”
  • “GOD RED ONS UIT DE NOOD! GEEF VREDE AAN DE WERELD (God save us from danger! Give peace to the world)”
  • “HEER BLIJF BIJ MIJ - HET WORDT NACHT (Lord stay with me – it is night)”
