Lupi’s input into radio is invaluable. It also draws on his diverse working background which includes everything from working as a sales assistant in a retail clothing chain in Port Elizabeth, where Lupi grew up, to working in a bank and at a highly corporate level when he worked in Marketing and PR at Sasko Milling.

A humanitarian and philanthropist, Lupi has engaged on different projects to help uplift those less fortunate. Most notable of his projects is the School Shoes Campaign, which he initiated successfully, collecting a combined total of 9000 school shoes for each province.
