OLD COPPER URN FOR COAL STOVE OR FIREPLACE
Super condition - solid brass tap
The shape of the piece indicates that it was probably meant to be inserted into an old coal stove.
It is in excellent condition and made from solid copper with a solid brass tap.
The protrusion on the tap spout is actually a "handle" for gripping and pulling the urn out of the stove.
The cover has a hinged lid that can be opened without removing the whole lid.
The copper has a nice patina and discolouration from the heat.
The tap is in working condition but note that we have not tested the tap or urn for leaks.
The urn measures 39.5cm long excluding the tap and 16.5cm wide.
Height to the first step is 19.5cm and 24.5cm to the second step (including the lid).
